Gradual Start Day 1 - New & Move-up CHP & Elem students
Our gradual start days are for all brand-new students in our Children's House (CHP) and Elementary programs to CMEC and all returning CMEC students who are moving up to a new program (CHP 1st year pre-k students, Lower Elementary 1st grade students, and Upper Elementary 4th grade students). If your child is a returning student who is in the same program they were in last school year, they will not be participating in the gradual start days.

Caregivers should plan to attend this day with their new and/or move-up students
- 9:00-10:00am – shortened morning work cycle for caregivers and their child in the classroom
- 10-10:30am – All children go outside for gross motor play
- 10-10:30am – NEW Caregivers go to the gym for a New Family Meeting with administration
- 10:30am – pick-up for all CHP and Elementary students
