Our first Caregiver Committee meeting (formerly Parent Association) of the school year will be held in the makerspace beginning at 8:45am, after morning drop-off.
The Big Table conversation is an event put on by The Columbus Foundation. It's purpose is for individuals and organizations to host a conversation on a topic that is important to them with the goal of building momentum toward a just and kind future for all.
CMEC will be hosting a conversation for The Big Table event this year. Keep an eye out for more information closer to the date.
We will have two virtual meeting times to meet with families to discuss feedback and answer any questions they may have after the start of the school year. Links to join these meetings will be sent out closer to the date to be held at both 12:00-1:00pm and 7:00-8:00pm.
This year's Fall Festival will be a bit different. Instead of being held on a Saturday, we will be holding it in the morning on Friday, September 27th from 9:00-11:00am. We want to be sure all of our students have a chance to participate by being during the school day as we know families have so many plans that can conflict with having events on a weekend. We will have various activities and games set up in stations around the back field that each of our classes will transition to throughout the festival. Families are welcome and encouraged to join their children while they move through each station. Once everyone has had a chance to participate in each station, we will have a picnic lunch outside.
Columbus Montessori Education Center provides a unique education model that launches the potential of each student, empowering them to change the world in ways big and small.
