Banish Tantrums! Free Positive Discipline Workshop for CMEC Parents

While parenting/ caring for children is one of the most rewarding experiences we encounter, it is also one of the most challenging tasks we face as adults.

In attending this session, parents will join Columbus Montessori faculty in our community commitment to positive discipline. The key to positive discipline is not punishment, but rather mutual respect. Learn practical strategies that help our children learn creative cooperation and self discipline with no loss of dignity.

Presented by Chip DeLorenzo – the head of school at Damariscotta Montessori School in Maine and certified instructor with the Positive Discipline Association. Chip is Montessori certified and has a long history of working with parents, educators, and children of all ages.

This program, and the program presented for the faculty, focuses on material from the national best selling Positive Discipline books by Jane Nelsen.
