The Annual Spring Gala is a special evening for the Columbus Montessori community. Each year, nearly 300 parents, alumni families, faculty and staff, and friends of the Center come together to celebrate and raise funds to support Columbus Montessori. The Spring Gala is the Center’s largest fundraiser of the year with proceeds going towards financial assistance for students and school operating costs. In 2013, the Annual Gala raised more than $85,000!
The evening includes a dinner, silent auction, live auction and lots of fun! To learn more, read the 2014 Gala Q&A here.
2014 is especially significant as Columbus Montessori celebrates its 30th Anniversary. Founded in 1984, Columbus Montessori continues to be the premier provider of Montessori education to a diverse community of students age six weeks to grade six in central Ohio. This gala will be a celebration of 30 years of “Nurturing, Growth, Education and Peace.”

Like the first Spring Gala 30 years ago, proceeds from the event allow Columbus Montessori to provide high quality care and education to a diverse community. Funds raised from the event go towards financial assistance for students and school operating costs. A socio economically diverse community is part of our mission and contributes to the strength and richness of our school. Funds raised at the Gala support direct financial aid to students as well as help defer the costs not covered by scholarship and subsidy programs. The generosity of the CMEC community year after year at this event makes it possible for the Center to fulfill its mission.
