Have you ever made a successful change in your life? Perhaps you wanted to exercise more, eat less, or change jobs? Think about the time and attention you dedicated to the process. A lot, right? Change is hard. Creating effective social habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, and privilege is like any lifestyle change, difficult.
Our CMEC Courageous Conversations sessions are designed to examine biases, behaviors, and belief systems through exploring the effect of Race in an ordinary life. America Is Changing: Are You Ready? Let’s start with a conversation. We all can be effective agents of change if we have the tools and correct information. You won’t want to miss these interactive, informational, challenging, and energetic conversations. Together as a community, we will examine and explore issues and history of race, privilege, and oppression in America.
