Infant Toddler Teacher – Jessica Kass Center Infant Toddler Program

Jessica Kass Center Infant Toddler Program
Seeking Experienced Infant and Toddler Teacher

  • Full time, year round
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Location: Columbus, Ohio

Program Philosophy:

At Columbus Montessori Education Center we recognize that early experiences last a lifetime. Most of a child’s foundation for lifelong success is built during the first three years of life. Who young children spend their time with and how they spend their time matters. As a result, we build on the Montessori principle of mixed age groups and the three year cycle in our Infant and Toddler program.

Our model is unique even to Montessori schools. Each child is assigned a primary caregiver and is nested in a primary group of four that has only one infant, and a mix of yearlings and toddlers. Young children thrive in this environment as they form strong attachments to their caregiver and their peers which provide them the security they need to embrace and explore the world around them. This continuum of care provides our youngest learners numerous opportunities to be both nurtured and the nurturer and the learner and the leader in their classrooms.
