2016 Annual Gala

The Annual Gala is one month away!  April 30th will be here before we know it!!  We would like to share some exciting news this year…

We are VERY excited to announce that CMEC is going high-tech this year by offering online and mobile bidding for our Silent Auction. We will now place all bids online with our smartphone or mobile device. Don’t worry! Bidding Stations and volunteers will be in place throughout the night to assist with the bidding process, should you have any questions.

Register online at CMEC Annual Gala Auction Access to register for the event! Registering online is the quickest, easiest way to place bids in the auction! Simply register by entering your name, contact information, and payment method. Registering online will also help us provide you with a speedy check in and checkout at the event, and we may even have some items available for bidding before the event itself.

We will have select items available for bidding from April 11-22, so don’t miss out!!  Some things you can do once registered:

  • View the itinerary
  • View the menu
  • Access the George Award nomination form (due April 6th)
  • Browse the Silent Auction and choose items you would like to bid on. Place items in your watchlist for easy access at the event.
  • Place your bid, with an option of setting a maximum bid.
  • You will be notified on your smartphone if you have been outbid, and if you have won an item.
  • Checkout will happen automatically at the end of the night. Only stop by the checkout table to pick up your items and/or wine from the wine wall!

Again, don’t forget to bring your smartphone with you this year!

New this year! A CMEC Gala “Afterparty”
For those of you who enjoy a continued celebration of CMEC and this wonderful community once the official event ends at the Hilton, this year we have reserved a room at Fado Irish Pub – just a short walk from the Hilton at Easton. Fado will offer drink specials all evening for CMEC guests!
